Attach a camera in the sequencer to an object

Hi everyone,

little question here. Also just saying that I’m not the most experienced UE5 user so please explain it to me gently.

I’m working on a previz for a feature film, working on the different camera angles for a car chase. Now, one of the angles would be what we call a car-mount, so basically it means a camera attached to a certain place on the vehicle.

Now, I know how to import a camera and set it up, I have also been able to import a car and “animate” it with the XYZ Transform parameters in the sequencer, but I don’t know how to attach a camera to the car in such a way that it sticks to the exact precise position, relative to the animated vehicle.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mx

You should be able to use an attach track for that:

If you don’t need to animate the attachment, and if the actors aren’t spawnable, you could also simply attach the camera to the car through the Outliner.
