Athian Games - Volumetric Nebulae and Clouds

VolumetricNebula is a powerful Unreal Engine plugin for creating stunning volumetric cloud and nebula effects using advanced procedural noise generation. Built with GPU compute shaders for optimal performance, this system delivers cinematic-quality atmospheric effects perfect for games, films, and interactive experiences.

The plugin features multiple professional noise algorithms including Perlin-Worley hybrid noise for realistic cloud formations, Musgrave fractals for complex atmospheric structures, and high-quality Simplex noise for smooth organic patterns. Each noise type offers extensive customization through data assets, featuring multi-scale controls, domain warping, and advanced flow advection systems for truly organic, natural-looking results.

The plugin automatically generates volume texture sheets from your noise configurations, converting procedural 3D noise into optimized 2D texture atlases that can be seamlessly integrated into your materials. The system provides complete artistic control through custom noise layering directly within Unreal's material editor, allowing you to blend multiple noise types, adjust density and contrast curves, and create noise colorization via color curves.

The physically-based lighting system uses proper scattering calculations and shadow mapping to create realistic illumination.

The system intelligently scales from mobile-friendly performance settings to ultra-high quality cinematic output, adapting texture resolutions and complexity based on your target platform.

Easy integration through drag-and-drop actors, automatic material parameter binding, and Blueprint support means you can start creating impressive volumetric effects immediately.

Hey, It has been updated already with what you see in the tutorial and has already been published. Also I have a discord channel so that you can directly connect with me over there.

Also I wonder if you have just downloaded the example projects without installing the plugin, because this only seems likely, when the plugin is not installed or enabled.

Also it is likely that the default render targets are not added, when you simply drag the volume actor you may have to add the textures in the slot, and work with the BP_VolumetricActor class, you will find it inside the VolumetricNebula plugin folder. Kindly follow the video tutorial and the documentation, and let me know if you still face issues.
