I can’t delete the default character when I create a new third person level. Even when I drag in a new third person blueprint and character, the player controller is still assigned to the stupid default character, and I can’t get rid of him! I want the third person character from the third person example map, where I can see the camera behind the character.
Edit->Project Settings->Maps & Modes->Default Modes->Selected Gamemode->Default Pawn Class
Change the default pawn to the one that you want. You may also need to create a custom gamemode if the default classes are greyed out.
