Assign material to one part of model

Hi, I fleshed out a wall using the modeling tools in Unreal Engine 4.27.2 and have applied a material to it. I then double clicked to open the model up and added another material slot.

Now I would like to select a polygon that spans along the wall and assign it a neon material I’ve made but there doesn’t appear to be a way to go in to PolyEdit, select the polys and apply the second material.

Am I missing something obvious or is it just not possible when created within Unreal itself, using the basic modeling tools?

You can Edit Materials in Modeling Mode

Edit Materials tool is in Modeling Mode → Attribs → Edit Materials

In the Materials section, you can Add/Remove/Assign Materials to the selected faces.
