Hello, i want to know if it is ok for me to use the free assets and the assets i purchase off the marketplace in a game i intend to sell eventually?

The FREE assets depends on the license provided with the FREE assets … if in doubt ask the person who supplied the FREE assets.
All assets in the marketplace can be used commercially in products and even most of the Epic content.
