The latest released version (20.1.3) still fails to resolve this issue. This highly confusing bug has persisted through three updates over the past several months without being fixed, which is truly concerning as to whether the Epic Games team is still operating properly.

I have the same issues on 20.1.3.
Two plugins always claim to need an update, but the Update button doesn’t work.
Loads of vault assets claim to need updates. If I update them, they still claim to need updating.

Also been having this issue, at least since 5.8 was in preview. Multiple plugins always say there is an update, even after “installing” that update. Just resets when the launcher is restarted.
