Assets Not Loading

Most of my assets do not show up anytime I quit and load back into Unreal 5.0.3. It shows them greyed out in the outliner and I have to pin them for them to show up in the viewport. I’m using a Gtx 1650, 16GB of ram, and a Core i5 Cpu (Not ideal at all, but…). My camera also doesn’t spawn where I last exited but spawns at a specific place every time. Is this an error or did I trigger something unknowingly in both cases I mentioned?

They are greyed out because you’re using world partition, and they have unloaded.

When you press play, the player will start at the player start, unless you’ve chosen ‘current location’ from the play menu.

Really? World Partition? Is there a way to keep them loaded permanently? Then I’m not talking about when you hit “play”. Just the normal viewport camera. Before after working and quitting, it saves the camera where I quit from. But now It opens the level at one specific place, no matter where I worked on last so I have to always fly to the last place I was working. Thanks for the fast response. I really appreciate the help.

You can’t convert map types. Better to start with a clean map, I think it’s called ‘basic’.

I’m not sure about the viewport camera. It’s easier to find out about bookmarks. When you’re somewhere you want to come back to, hit CTRL1 ( or 2, 3 etc ). Later, just hitting 1, will put you back in the same spot with the same view.

Make sure you save the map after making bookmarks.
