Hey everyone, I need help.
I’m learning UE and taking the course, Unreal to VFX. Two of the modules I’ve been working on this past week Saving does something strange.
1st issue is, each time UE saves’ it pops an asset up into the air even though it was created on the ground. (This just involves making a scene that resembles that of Rya and the Dragon)
2nd Issue is, each time UE saves, it unchecks the Cine Cam option for Enable Look at Tracking and clears out the plane asset it’s supposed to be tracking AND bounces the camera back to a distant location. (This is for a dog fight course with a bunch of bi-planes but I’m in the very first video of creating this scene so we’ve yet to get into anything crazy.
All of this is for creating short film’s/cinematics in UE, no game design or anything of the sort.
I’ve restarted these modules twice and continue to have these issues following the directions in the course. I’ve no idea’ how to move forward. No physics or gravity, I’m still learning UE so
I’m just following along with the course I’m taking which is run by Josh Toonen.
Sorry if this is not the right place but I can’t find a forum on here for getting actual help for new users.
