Assets from alternate levels show up as (unloaded) in my main level

Summary

I am new to UEFN and am unable to make testing levels in the team project because everything I place into a level shows up as (unloaded) and causes errors and slows things down to the point where the editor is telling me to enable streaming.

It started after I tried to create Playsets as shown here How to create new Prefabs using Fortnite Props? - #4 by JustDrewTV and I set the World Setting to ‘is prefab’

Now the main level pulls everything into itself from levels I create. My teammates have not seen this before. Do you know why this is happening? I am also experiencing many crashes but I do not know if that is related.

Island Settings

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Make a level that is not the main island that loads on play
  2. Put props in level
  3. Go to world settings
  4. Next to “IsPlayset” make sure that is checked.
  5. save

Expected Result

I expected the level to become a ‘playset’ with similar functionality to a prefab.

Observed Result

My island settings for the prefab level were pulled into the main level unloaded and my team and I could no longer load a session. In addition, everything else in the prefab was pulled into the level. After I unchecked and deleted the offending level/attempted playset, the behavior remained the same. All levels I create are being automatically brought into the outliner of the main island as unloaded, yet are also affecting performance and contributing to crashes.

When I switch between the level with assets and the main level it usually crashes, this time with this error.

Fatal error: [File:Z:\UEVFS\Root\Engine\Source\Editor\UnrealEd\Private\EditorServer.cpp] [Line: 1934]
World Memory Leaks: 2 leaks objects and packages. See The output above.

I have noticed things slowing down and have had multiple memory leak crashes.
