Hello,
I am absolutely new to the world of Unreal Engine in film production. Fortunately there is a great adoption of virtual production happening around the world and I am on the learning curve.
I wanted to know where can I find readily created asset stock for virtual production - sets and elements all possible?
Thank You
Hi there @Anandabrata and welcome to the community!
Epic Games had a massive push a few years ago towards the Virtual Production community, so luckily for you there are tons of resources out there. Every month, Epic releases several asset packs for free on Fab. Here are these month’s.
Additionally, here are the search results for “Virtual Production” on the Fab site. There’s lots to choose from!
Additionally, there are plenty of free assets and environments available.
Overall, Fab is going to be your best friend. All of the assets are easy to import and usually contain prebuilt environment or asset demos.
As for learning virtual production, this is what I started out in! Though granted that was quite a while ago and things are very different now. the Unreal Engine documentation is a great starting point for learning the available engine tools. Livelink is a must for any type of virtual production work, and you’ll need to know nDisplay if you’re working with any type of LED wall volume.
Here are some additional learning resources I recommend:

Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.
@sarahlenker thank you tons. These are great starting points for me. . Will reac back for more inputs, as I go along. Super helpful.
Cheers,
Anand
