i have a problem about assets in unreal. there are assets in my project that i can’t find in my unreal editor. but it is in the right folder in the content folder. is it a bug?? (iam using unreal 4.6). btw.
- probably you saved them with a newer version
- are those assets .uasset files?
- which kind of assets do you use (meshes, textures,…)
What they said above plus just a note that unknown files on the harddrive that you cannot see in unreal could also be redirects. You need to turn on the show redirectors filter in the content browser to see these.
thanks all for the answers!!!
that’s really a new information for me hehehe,
but in my case, i solved that just by erase all my intermediate data and do a nice long rebuild. i don’t know, maybe intermediary link and some things like that, that make the .uassets cannot be seen in the unreal.
For most users, it’s going to be 's response, the .uasset files were created with a different version of the engine.
Window > Reset Layout.
The project restarts and fix it.
