Does AssetManager always require restarting the editor for changes to take effect?
For example I’m working in LyraStarterGame. If I add new asset types to the Asset Manager / Primary Asset Types to Scan configuration, these seem to not take effect until after I restart the editor.
Is this true with all changes to AssetManager configs? Or is this specific to LyraStarterGame?
Is there anything in the editor I can do to get the changes to take effect without restarting?
I haven’t. Thankfully, this issue rarely comes up since it’s rare to need to update the AssetManager settings. It’s possible they fixed it in the past 1.5 years, this hasn’t affected me since then.
