Asset Management

Many of us have a crowded vault and multiple projects (main project, test projects for different aspects).
Am I the only one who thinks that previewing and migrating of assets is too time intensive?
Wouldn’t it be better to have a single and fast starting asset browser to find at least your meshes and materials?

Assuming you’re poking around in the repositories like me, what is your approach to solve this problem?

I usually send all of my assets to a dummy project before migrating them to others. It allows me to setup the folder structure and keep things consistent across multiple projects. It doesn’t feel too time intensive to me at all, though perhaps it depends on how many assets you’re moving and how often. =)

So you have a single project which works as your asset collection. Ok, makes sense. Thanks.
