Asset doesn't really work as expected.

I have a blood asset, and I place it on the wall. There is a blue arrow on the the mesh, pointing towards the wall. In front of the wall (opposite the arrow pointing) the mesh isn’t very detailed (also i have light, in front of the wall. Its also in an empty level). Behind the wall, is the most bloodiest thing ever seen. If I were to rotate the mesh so the arrow faces towards the player (away from the wall.) it will be black. How can I fix this?
