Asset Anti Piracy Measures?

Hi Everyone

I know there has been plenty of discussion regarding this in the past, but most threads are years old.

Has Epic / Fab implemented any API or feature yet where it’s possible for a plugin only to be able to run if it was purchased from the marketplace by checking for a valid purchase or license?

If not, are we allowed to implement any anti-piracy measures in our plugins?

What do you as creators do to prevent piracy of your assets?

I am working on a massive C++ / blueprint plugin (95% C++) but exposing a lot to blueprint for developers not familiar with C++. This plugin has taken months of work just to get to the point of where it is now and will still take a lot of work to finish and polish. I don’t want to see my plugin getting pirated in the end only to make minimal to almost zero sales because someone decided to go and upload or share my plugin.

There is nothing on the marketplace that really provides most of what this plugin’s features will bring to projects. One or two with very small bits perhaps. I would really love to protect it as much as possible.
