Assertion Failed: Uniform Buffer in Sequencer UE5.5 crashes every time

Just in case someone else finds this, there’s a bigger discussion about this issue in another thread:

I have the exact same problem in 5.5.1 and sadly no solution.

EPIC have seemingly tracked down what this issue is about, and will push out a patch with 5.5.3. The issue is fixed at source since today apparently: Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-234045)

Until the patch is out, building from source may be an option (if only I knew how to do that).
