So, crashes started for me something about two months ago. At first it was inregullar but with time, more often. Nothing work for me, i tried every solution from this topic and nothing. Dont know what to do, its so frustrating. I cant play games i paid for. There is so many people having this problem, i dont understand why epic didnt fix it yet.
Did you get the latest installer from epic games ?
In my case I uninstalled everything from the windows menu then got the latest msi and installed again. I got a kind of mini update when the installer launched and it fixed my problème.
Did you guys have ARK ?
Because someone with a different error said he had solved it by deleting ARK folder.
I try because,i was desperate and it worked.
Hope it can help.
Just try to run the Games Launcher installer again, for me it fixed the problem and I don’t had to reinstall all my games.

Same, but I solved it
First, install Epic Games and then open it until it crashes.
Then install Revo Uninstaller
Select Epic Games and uninstall it
Select advanced when scanning
Select all items and delete them (including files and registry)
Just reinstall it at last

For anyone here in 2025 or beyond, I fixed it by going to my “ProgramData” folder and deleting the folder called “Epic”. After that, it opened just fine. I don’t know the consequences of deleting the folder but I do know that it can fix the launcher.
