Besides this, the movies which were actually better than Hollywood were -
‘Taare Zameen Par’ & ‘3 Idiots’

Both star the same actor Aamir Khan :smiley: (Probably the best one in Bollywood)

Those who haven’t watched these two… Trust me, you should.

And one more thing- ‘Taare Zameen Par’ literally means stars on earth (the kids are referred to stars in the movie) :slight_smile:

As a black dude i listen to all kinds of music, even some hardcore sleetgrout, blue sthali and ****. Please don’t tell the others tho…might get kicked out of the black club

I’m quite partial to a bit of Bollywood music some of my faves being the soundtracks to ‘rab ne bana di jodi’ and ‘Barfi!’. I also recommend the latter movie, which tackles disabilities and is highly influenced by (copies from?) the Charlie Chaplin films. Nowadays I can’t sit through a Bollywood flick due to the masala nature, messes with my mind too much (I can make exceptions for movies with Govinda or Johnny Lever coz they crack me up).

What I do wish to see more of is Bollywood/south asian tracks making their way into games. Far Cry 4’s use of tracks by ‘The Bombay Royale’ and ‘Panjabi MC’ left me speechless, it was the first time I experienced this and I think I actually cried a little, it was that good. I mean I’m sure you’ve all heard ‘Jaan Pehchan Ho’ from the Heineken advert but Far Cry 4’s use blew it out the water.

I need fat bass in music, to hear/like it.
So far, i found no bollywood sound with the bass i like…
