I have rooms collected from modular assets. After light build i have some artefacts on walls and ceiling (color difference). How i can fix it? (Lightmass settings not help).
The lighting system processes each actor by itself which can result in subtle lighting differences between meshes. It’s best to avoid making a surface (like a wall or floor) out of multiple pieces.
Modular workflow is meant to reduce the amount of memory used by reusing the meshes but only storing one within memory, but for those kinds of meshes they don’t hardly take up any memory at all and it’s actually worse for your game because it’s adding draw calls by using multiple meshes to make something that can be done with one mesh.
