Artec .e57 data

Hi there,

We’re struggling to align photogrammetry with .e57 data from the Artec Eva. Anyone had experience with this workflow?

CR doesn’t seem detect the colour data in the .e567 and is importing with the wrong scale and axis.

Any help much appreciated!

I only did a quick test, and couldn’t import the .e57 at all. You got further than I did.
Good to know that it’s kind of working. I’ll spend a bit more time on this.

Did you progressed a bit since your post!?

even though you have E57, it does not mean the structure of internal data is OK, and in case of Artec E57 the problem is that the structure is not in a format that RC can process.

what about .PTX!?

Do you have any tricks for us to merge Artec data to the image set?

the PTX files in Artec are texture files ( Disney PTEX ) and not Leica PTX files ( geometry )
