Hi everyone.
The Arrow Component has a color attribute. Unfortunately for me the opacity value has no effect whatsoever. Does anybody have an idea why that is? Is this a bug maybe? I would really like to being able to change the opacity so that the arrow is slightly translucent in game…
If I set the opacity via the SetArrowColor node in a blueprint nothing happens as well…
It’s because the arrow material doesn’t use that pin.
You can easily make your own arrow material that is translucent

My arrow components do not have any slot or section for materials in the details panel…

I assumed the arrow was an engine mesh. You’ll need to make your own arrow mesh if you want it to be translucent
A quick workaround is: Search content > Arrow in Engine content. There is a mesh for you.
