Due to a large number of changes made to ARKit integration compared to 4.17 and 4.18 being a preview build I’m marking this as answered. It seems that based on commits made by Epic in 4.18 source there are alot of tweaks and improvements to ARKit functionality which will made it to 4.18 final release.
