Hey ! I want to create a ark mod but the ArkDevKit is too big. I have ark on my pc (steam) so can i use my existant files for the download?

I´m not an expert on this, but I think this will not work. The game files from steam are already compiled while the files contained in the dev kit are still “raw”. This is by the way the reason why you can edit the contained core files in the dev kit but no files of mods, downloaded from steam. You need the uncompiled source files for that.
