Everytime I try to install the Ark Dev Kit AVG attacks some of the files(about 6 of them) and claims they are a threat of some kind. so I went into “AVG”. I clicked “Options”, then “Advanced Settings”, then “Exceptions”, and finally clicked “Add Exception”…
Just disable AVG while you install the dev kit, and then once you have the kit installed go to exceptions, select folder, and then choose the folder of the ark dev kit, which (if you’re installing through Epic Games) should be C:/Program Files/Epic Games.
