I’ve been spending time using the new UEFN support for Rocket Racing, but I’m unable to find a feature I assumed would be available.
On the Rocket Racing map “Anaconda” (and on many other of the maps), sections of the track that force you to drift are surrounded by a very close and visible reset area around the outside of the track. I wanted to use this feature inside of UEFN to force players to drift around sections of my track as well, instead of just flying over them. However, the only reset area that I can find inside of UEFN is the “RR Elimination” device. I cannot find a way to make a visible reset area that surrounds the track. I assumed there would be some sort of feature in the RR Track object to enable and tweak a visible reset area around your track, but I can’t seem to find that if it does exist.
Is this a feature that exists, or is planned to be introduced in the future? I would prefer to not place hundreds of invisible reset areas around my map, especially since players would run into them without knowing they were even there.
