Are there best practices around proning?

I found there are integrated support for crouching in Unreal Engine. Which has Crouch() and UnCrouch() and CrouchedWalkSpeed; But I wonder it is not for Proning.
I can implement proning myself with height changing, speed and state changing. But it won’t be interacting with fall, swimming etc. as integrated Crouching does.
First, what are all I need to take care of if creating my own proning system? I think now height, MaxProneSpeed, falling, swimming can be counted. But ARE THERE MORE TO CONSIDER?
And most importantly, ARE THERE BEST PRACTICES available around Proning characters in Unreal Engine 5?
[Currently, I have to do manual adjustments around proning characters. Instead of integrated crouching, I have created my own stand, crouch and prone. Without changing MaxCrouchSpeed, I am using MaxWalkSpeed as base and my custom stance multipiler. I wonder is there a better solution.]

Also forgot, is rotating character when proning a good idea?
