Ideally, it would be great to make roads spline in a 3d software or even illustrator and export the curve data. Creating roads with specific curves is the biggest pain to do in the editor. What would normally take me 10 mins takes a few days in Unreal. Can we get some import tools for this, where you can make edits and update the spline curves by just reimporting?
Yes, once you apply meshes and have a couple of spline points it starts to get really laggy and difficult to edit. Perhaps, we can try to create different splines and then merge them (which eventually return to the initial issue when you decide to edit again), or preferred an update which solves the lag.
