Hello, I am Math - Computer Science student. I want to make a game like ‘among us’ or ‘goose goose duck’ games and I want to know something. Are 3d or 2d maps used in this games ?
Both Among Us & Goose Goose Duck games are using 2D art styles enhanced with camera tricks.

Among us is a 2d map with 2D colliders, and it was also done in Unity which has more options for 2D. Unreal Had Paper 2D but I usually use UE for 3D which gives better 3D results.
