I’m having a bit of difficulty understanding the guidelines for content submission. Am I right in thinking that submitting a single material function (say, a custom implementation of a flowmap shader) wouldn’t be allowed since it’s too little? I’d set the price at between $0 and $1, I’m not sure really. I get the feeling that Epic would prefer to see more substantial offerings because small value transactions are less profitable than large value ones because of financial overheads.
It’s more about providing maximum value to end users than it is making money. Like, one material function might be better shared on the forums. But a pack of 10 useful functions, that’s worth a few bucks to someone and would be a good addition to the marketplace.
We’re trying to avoid small packs at the moment during this initial launch period. We’d prefer things with 5 or more assets in them…
