Are edited brand logos and/or slightly changed copywrite/trademark names allowed?

Hey! just getting started and have been making a map, but have to stop to ask this before going any further… are altered copywriten names and logos allowed?

For a silly example, if I want to make a store similar to Trader Joe’s and name it Trader Jonesy’s, would it be allowed? or if I want to make a similar Starbucks and call it something like Squarebucks with maybe a logo of kevin the cube in the place of the mermaid head on their logo. Obviously none of the logo can be a copy and paste, all of it would have to be different in some way, but how different does it have to be? or would it even be allowed?

Officially, Rule 1.7 would apply to this.

I’d consider what you’re describing more ‘Parody’ than ‘Satire’ and if you’re building your own logos from the ground up - I like to think that any reasonable island moderator would permit it.
