Archviz Workhorse first Build 2000 $ Budget

Hello Everyone,

While there are so many experienced users here I hope for some recommendations building my first Workstation. 2000$ Budget
Since I´m coming back from Mac I dont know much about PC parts and what will work together.

The Build should handle heavy Rendering with Light setups, Unreal Engine, CAD, 3dsMax, Photoshop…
My goal is to generate Archviz using Unreal Engine since I have many clients that request high end renderings or walk-around options in real time of their products while showcased in a realistic environment.

Here is what I figured would be a good starting point…
Intel i7-4790K 4.0 GHz /
Intel i7-7700K 4.2 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Founders Edition
Something with high RAM for UE4

Are you looking to build the PC yourself or are you looking for something pre-built?

I’d say the 7700K is a good choice, with the GTX 1080 and 32GB of RAM
