Archviz running in a browser

Hi there

I´m looking for examples of archviz running in a browser to see what kind of quality that is possible.

I you should know of any links like that please share, thanx.

Best regards

That quality isn’t worth it imo… they say ‘‘Physically accurate lighting’’… it looks like sketchup illumination to me…

Better off streaming a max quality unreal scene over the net. Like I’ve done with this test scene : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikNJLJIcuPA

I’m not ready to bet all my chips on streaming. That demo from Shapespark loaded up very fast and ran very smooth. Whereas streaming an HD video with interactivity is megs upon megs of constant data coming in. Relying on very fast internet and a flawless connection (with unlimited data plans) is asking for problems when trying to use this approach for every situation. And latent touch response feels nasty.

Of course for some clients and specific circumstances it is a great way to have the highest quality.

Hey guys

Thanx for your replies and for the links.
I am glad to see that it set of some different opinions and solutions.

Best regards
David

Hello

Thank you for mentioning us (Shapespark) and for constructive opinions. If anyone is interested here is a larger and more recent in-browser visualization done in our tool: Architectural visualization

You guys are doing a great job in presenting Real time Experience on web browser. keep up the good work. Best of luck.

Yes, very nice work. Your demo seems to use anti-aliasing, how do you make it work in the browser?

The page never loaded for me.

About 70% of WebGL devices have native support for MSAA while rendering directly to screen (see ‘SAMPLES’ chart at http://webglstats.com/), on remaining devices we fall-back to FXAA. For archviz scenes, that often have detailed geometry with narrow gaps between objects, FXAA has considerably lower quality than MSAA.

Can you share what browser and OS are you using? Do other WebGL sites work for you (like three.js examples)?

Internet explorer Win 8.

On Windows 8, IE 10 does not support WebGL. IE 11 supports it, although the support is not yet as good as in Firefox or Chrome.
