Tricky, as I think a separate post about doing arch-viz in cry-engine wouldn’t be acceptable on the forums, so is a good place for it, but it IS a bit of a thread hijack.
Hey
First off, Really loving your work on here, really inspired me to get back into 3D fully.
Secondly, I’m working on a scene that I guess you can call ArchViz (I studied Video Game Art at Uni, so I was always working on Game ready environments, but project is more ArchViz), and I had a question regarding the light lanes at windows.
Do you have a plane and spot light at every window?
Or 1 spot light and 1 plane?
Or 1 spot light and the light planes at every window?
Thanks
Dan
Many many thanks for your time & clarifying…
I used the setting exactly what shared in the first three pages
Modified baselightmass.ini
Spot lights pointed towards reflectors for indirect lighting as well as World Settings
BTW, anybody could successfully dowload 's released scene from Marketplace yet, my status is stuck in syncing.
Same here…
Aw I wanted to try T_T
I think its not yet available. Its listed in the coming soon section, but for a strange reason you can already make a depo for it, but it doesnt start the download (which seems right because it will be coming soon) It should not be enabled to already click the create project button if its not yet there
I’m not getting the sync error, but when it finishes it gives me the option to ‘add to project’ instead of ‘create project’.
will dump a small folder of unassembled models and textures into my scene, mats not assigned to the meshes, no maps or lighting setup. Peculiar, but I’ll wait a little while and re-download it in case is still a side effect of it going up on the market.
Actually the scene files are in the Lightroom folder (File -> Open Level -> Your_Project_Folder\Lightroom ). And it’s beautiful. Thanks !
just got the scene. meh it looks good.
…who am i kidding??? it looks fcking amazing!
Yesterday morning it was not available…
Today Sept 25th at the early morning… I got it
Many thanks to the generous man ****…
WTF!! WOW WoW WOW!! Was it really made with ArchViz and UE4??? OMG! I thought it was a real thing… Your work is superb!
Same here, no uproject… just tell me to add to a project
Hey
That Lightroom looks amazing, it answered my questions, so thanks to **** for not only being , but also releasing it for free, can’t wait to see more of your work.
Thanks
Dan
Yep, its working now. I have to say I really love your floor material Its so **** simple but does an incredibly good job^^
Thanks, , for amazing contribution! It’s helping me a lot to improve my skills mainly with post process volumes! =)
Amazing stuff, thanks . One quick question if you don’t mind though. If I rebuild the lighting it looks no where near as clean as before. Is there some settings that I need to tweak to get the same amazing lighting please?
I think you must set the .ini as said.
, again, your work is fantastic. And giving it us for free, wow, wordless.
Hey Morty, thanks for the reply, you were right… Plus the build was set to ‘preview’!
Now it looks soooo sexy!
, once again, amazing stuff!!
