ArchiCAD Datasmith to Unreal Engine 5.3

Hello all,

I’m working between ArchiCAD 25 and Unreal Engine 5.3 using the Datasmith plugin. Generally it works really well, but I’m finding if both the editor and ArchiCAD are closed, sometimes the connection is lost and cannot be recovered.

If I go to add a new Datasmith live link, the ‘computer name’ listed will be different from when I added the link, which is where the problem seems to occur.

I haven’t changed any settings on my computer for this, so not sure why this is occuring. Is there a way I can point the Datasmith source to a different location?

I’m on MacOS Sonoma 14.2
