Arch Viz as a menu?

So, we are looking at a redesign of our main menu in our current project - to the possibility of having a simple 3d “level” where it is basically just looking out of a window (outside the window will probably be a still background image to be honest)

Then we are thinking about laying text over that for the menu items -

Is that an okay way to go about this? Or would we be better off creating the scene, running it, grabbing a high res screenshot, and using that as the backdrop of a UMG menu?

Sure. Plenty of games do main menus like that.
