Applying textures to Uassets?

Hey guys! new to unreal here.

I’m have a lot of experience with texture creation and application in other programs, but unreal is a bit confusing for me right now.

I got this foliage pack online, which comes with a folder of instance materials, and another one with separate textures (diffuse, alpha etc.)

I’m not sure how to bring these all together to get a working material— can anyone help?

You have to add the textures in your material -> texture sample nodes. After that you can connect them to the different slots -> normal map, base colour,… :slight_smile:
In the instanced materials you can also add textures -> choose one in the slots of the instanced material
