Apply Alembic cache to static asset


New to Unreal and I want to know is it possible to apply an alembic to a static mesh/asset? I want to have my one final textured asset and feed it different alembic animations. This is currently not possible in Unity so I’m looking to see if Unreal can do this.


you can do that with skeletal meshes
but I’ve only used alembics where each are separate, not referenced to another object

I would also love to know if this is possible. we currently have a character with clothing but would want to feed in a alembic cache for it. is there a way to do this in Unreal?
