APEX Clothing stretches too far away from the model in-game

I want to add dresses and such for my game and since this is my first time messing with APEX Clothing I wanted to try something more simple first. I added apex clothing to my hair models. Each hair model is a separate model currently with just one bone. The hair model is attached to the head model. The problems seems to be that the hair model is constantly lagging behind the head model. Not sure if it’s a problem with the clothing system or something in it where it doesn’t properly update its position fast enough inside the clothing system.

When I apply it on Maya I used the value “1” which I understand is the value how far from the original position they can stretch out from.
