I am using an APEX Cloth Cape on my player character but it won’t collide with world objects like static meshes. I am mostly using complex collision as simple on static meshes because the averaged simple collision is either too simplified or the calculation is too slow if set to a high accuracy value. I’ve created the Cloth asset with the 3ds Max 2017 Physx 3.3.3 Plugin and the Collision Capsules of the Skeletal Mesh are working correctly. A Box collision on the root bone isn’t really a solution as I got this only working on some of the different Player-Skin Meshes. The Box collision just gets ignored on some meshes despite of not exceeding the Collision Volume Limit of 16 (APEX seems to count every Volume twice).
Does anyone here have an idea what causes this Issue?
