Hi guys!
I’m currently using maya 2015 with the physX version 3.3.3, the apex version 1.3.3, unreal engine 4.14.3.
I made some cloth simulation into maya, it works fine but when I import all of it into unreal, it brokes.
I have a whole character all rigged/skinned that has pants, these one are simulated with clothing. When I export the rig from maya I select the geometries and the bones and export in .fbx. For the simulated mesh I select only this one and export it in .PxProj. Then I import everything in UE4, the simulation works but it looks all broken(see the image).
Would you guys have any idea why it does that? What can I do to make this work exactly the same in maya and in unreal?
