Apex cloth doesn't like the surface I'm standing on

He’res a video of the problem:

The cloth starts to glitch up on the z axis when I’m standing on a fast falling object. I think the problem MIGHT be that I am standing on a static object that is trying to transform itself on top of an invisible dynamic object. I probably can’t change that because Unreal’s physics required me to make this static object compromise in the first place. Does anyone have any good ideas to get around this?
