Hi, I got the model for free from cgtrader, cleaned it up and tried to render it in Unreal 5.1 with Lumen, here’s the result. Comments and critiques are most welcome. Cheers!
Did you use some cropping tricks to align your verticals?
Hi there @EmergencyDuck,
Hope you’re well and having a great week so far!
What a beautiful building made even more beautiful by all the well-done lighting and reflections. The cleanness and modern design is absolutely stunning. What was the most difficult part of the project?
Hope to see more of your work soon!
@Beaueos No, I used an asset from the marketplace. It’s not free but not expensive either and I think if you do archviz it’s worth every penny (although I think a camera like this should be included in the engine itself). ArchVis Tools in Code Plugins - UE Marketplace
@PresumptivePanda thanks! I’ve got to be honest, the design is not mine, I got the building itself from cgtrader, then I cleaned it up and composed the shot in unreal. The most difficult part was to get rid of the “gamey” look of it and I still didn’t manage to do it perfectly, but I’m happy for now. Also, the light trails on the road, I tried all possible settings with motion blur but couldn’t get it to look right, so in the end it’s just a plane with a semi-transparent red glowing material and there’s no motion blur at all.
