Apartment interior - in progress

Hi,

I’ve been learning more about UE in my spare time and would really appreciate any comments on the apartment interior I’ve done:

I’d like to add a few more props to make it feel a bit more lived-in, but am pretty pleased with my progress so far. Any tips/ feedback would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

Looks pretty good. Good lighting, pretty much nailed the sun tone. lightmaps look great, clean. yeah, add a few more items and its done for your portfolio.

I’d switch to another kinda of AA in place of TXAA and push up the screenpercentage to 200 or even 300. The scene looks good but its a shame to have a blurry render !

Yeah really good work! how was this modelled and where did you get the assets from?

I think when the camera pans down to the corner of the dining table, the focus of the camera should be shifted to the table top rather than to the distance.

Thanks for the tips and feedback!

  • thanks for the info on AA settings - I’m away from my PC for a few days but will give those settings a try when I get back.

  • all architecture and interior modeled by me in Cinema 4d with textures in Photoshop and Substance B2M.

Cheers,

Maybe it’s blurry because of the high indirect smoothness and scale (lack of contact/indirect shadows –> objects are floating)…
