Hello Unreal Engine Community!
First of all iam absolutly not good in 3D Modelling, idk. Iam searching a software with which you can make 3D Models from Images - I know there are a lot companies who have such softwares and offer them, but does anyone knows a software which is also good for game content?
My Problem is i remember i saw a software which has an extra option to optimize the model for games but i cant remember the name -.- …
If you know something about a software which is good please let me know it

If you’re not good at 3D modeling, then 3D scanning/photogrammetry is not a solution, it’s not a crutch for people, it’s merely a way to make some more realistic assets, you still need to know how to make them work properly. They’re not going to end up usable from the scan and still require cleanup work. Characters require even more work since they have to be animated.
If your looking for a way to make quick animated character Meshes, 3D scanning is NOT an option.
there topology is a mess and totally Un-optimized. and the polycount is super high.
Meshes made for games are always made with polycount and topology in mind.
Topology and the lowest polycount you can get away with without loosing quality is King when is comes to 3d modeling.
I’m with AlphaWolF here. If you plan to create a game with lots of models in a scene, you have to consider the optimization of the models. Having tons of polycount on models causes performance issues, and is super annoying for players. In my opinion, your best bet would be to learn Blender as much as possible, it’s not that hard nowadays, there are plenty of courses on the internet, or on Udemy, or anywhere. Once you’ll get the hang of it, it would be totally acceptable. Although, if you don’t want to learn 3D modelling, you may consider paying some cash to freelancers, they’ll create an optimized 3D model for your project in no time.
