I’ve been a creator since April. Everything has been set up properly. Last night received an email that I have been deactivated because I didn’t finish my bank account setup within 60 days. My account has been active for 7 months? Support is no help only supplying generic replies. I’ve confirmed my HyperWallet is set up. Anyone else experience this?
Yes. I have what looks like the same issue. Player support thinks I want to re-apply. Current plan is to get the 7/30 days in UEFN and contact them again. It’s really frustrating and is a reminder that we’re at the mercy of a corp and it’s processes. I truly love Epic but it still makes me feel a little uneasy.
Yeah its a bit crazy…i’ve confirmed with hyperwallet support that my wallet is set up properly. I received an email July 27th that I need to accept updated terms. They’ve told me that I was deactivated because I haven’t accepted those terms within the 60 days but it hasn’t been 60 days yet. They all continue to tell me I now need to wait 90 days to reapply. This 90 days is a penalty for something that is an error and not on my part as I can prove I’ve fulfilled all requirements.
Me too. I contacted chat and they told me there is a 90 day cool down period before I can re-apply again. Really terrible policy Epic…shame on you!
I took a break because I kept running into bugs and had to come up with work arounds for my islands and got tired of it. So I figured I would wait until the dust had settled and now this.
I was sent and email on July 27th and cancelled on Sept 17th. 52 days. Also the email never said there was a time limit. And it was the only email I received. I was told it was 60 days by support. It seems Epic has bugs in this too.
