Any way to use UE4's chunky Editor UI, colored icons and readable theme into UE5?

Is it possible to use the UE4 editor GUI into UE5?

I’m not talking only about the color theme which I know we can customize, but I’m talking about the icons and shapes, the gradients in the bars, and the chunky GUI elements. Is it possible in any way, even if hackish?

The reason? The colored icons and clear separators, the “chunky” nature of it offer good contrast and more readability for bad vision like mine

I.e. I want to make the UE5 Editor less flat and more skeuomorphic like UE4. From all my Google searches, I guess it’s already a “No, not possible”, but let’s give it a try with this topic :grimacing:.

Is it possible to permanently increase the font size of the UE5 Editor?

Or should I always use the Widget Reflector? Any way to persist the text scaling?

Samples

I know everyone knows the UE4 GUI at this point, but let’s put it side by side, so it’s clear to see the difference of readability and contrast:

My current theme which makes the flat aspect of UE5 a bit more readable in my screen:

I made it available here: Unreal Engine 5 Editor Theme with Blue highlights, and more contrast between elements · GitHub

This plugin scales the whole editor UI and persists the changes across restarts - solving the question of font size.
