Any way to save project settings please?

Hey guys

As awesome as UE5 is, there is so many settings/plug ins etc to enable before you actually can get stuck in.

So is there any way, like what Blender has, to ‘save’ your favourite settings etc like plug ins/lighting set up etc as default so when you start a new project, it’s all ready to go with your fave settings all ready enabled?

Also I came back to my project and my assets and level were not visible, then when I clicked on the little ‘pin’ symbol, they came back, but it was a lot of clicking before I get everything back.
Is this normal please? If not how to avoid this?

Many thanks for any info.

If you go to Editor Preference, you have option “Set as Default”, that should save editor preference.
If you need project settings, then why don’t you just create one blank project. You can use it as a template, and you can copy / clone it whenever you want to start new project.

Thanks so much for the reply Bojann.

I will make a template with my favourite settings, so thanks for that idea. Then like you said, I can clone it.

Didn’t know about being able to save editor preferences etc so will check that out.

Thank you again
