Any updates on the UMG Viewport?

I would very much like to be able to place 3D models, static meshes, etc. into UMG elements.

The UViewport apparently does this but is currently experimental / broken.

I was wondering if this was on anyone’s radar?

Not at the moment. Getting that thing working would take a concerted effort across many teams to make sure having multiple UWorlds in a running game doesn’t completely break the universe. Too many places still use GWorld.

Sorry to bump this thread, but is there any update on this Widget?
I’m still seeing it as experimental but have you made some move on this?

What’s the alternative approach to make this work? Should we mimic the UT4 approach (are we allowed too?)?
