It has been over seven months since it was introduced. Watching the deep dive on it several new and needed features are expected. Any timeline on when we will see an update?

Wondering as well. Anyone tried it in 4.27 preview?

still no reply 
IIRC someone at Epic said on a livestream that the Water plugin would be ready when UE5 releases. 4.27 has some fixes but no new features.
