Any ideas why USD import options are not appearing even though I have the USD Importer plugin enabled?

I’m using UE 5.3.2

I have the USD Importer plugin enabled:

And it used to work - but now when I try and import an asset USD isn’t available to me:

Any ideas of how to fix this? When I open up a different project the USD options appear.

I can’t find any relevant mentions in the error log:

[jdh25501]

It was bad code in a local plugin that was causing the problem. Take out the bad code and the USD importer works again.
